A father from the West Midlands has had a tattoo of a cerebrum shunt so his little girl could perceive what her's resembled.
Gareth Hickenbottom-Marriott, from Walsall, said he needed to demonstrate his help to Chloe, 10, who was conceived with an uncommon condition called Goldenhar Syndrome.
She likewise has hydrocephalus, a development of liquid on the mind which the shunt soothes.
Chloe has been dealt with by Birmingham Children's Hospital, who called it a "'superb, mindful motion".
