The Lisa was generally regarded as a flop for Apple
The source code for Apple's Lisa, the PC that pre-dated the Mac, is to be discharged, enabling anybody to tinker with an essential cut of IT history.
The Computer History Museum (CHM) declared that it had recuperated the code and that Apple was looking into it.
Once the code is cleared for discharge, it will be made accessible sooner or later in 2018.
The PC is by and large respected to have been one of Apple's greatest lemon.
CHM's product caretaker Al Kossow declared the news on a Lisa mailing list for fans.
